Waarom ik meedoe aan Alpe d'HuZes
6 times climbing the mighty mountain ... for the ones that are currently fighting, the ones that lost the battle and all the battles that still need to be fought.
This is not going to cure people now, this is not going to bring back the ones we lost but it may, it just may, help reducing future casualties. This will be my motivation during the long training hours and during the event itself.
I will do it for Michael, my friend, who has been diagnosed with cancer not so long ago.
I will do it for my dad who died when I was 13.
I will do it for Marloes who never reached her 28th birthday.
I will do it for everyone who has, is and will face cancer.
But this is also a moment for positive vibes. Together with some of my best friends we will have fun training, share biking experience (with beer!) and taking part to the Alpe D’Huzes 2019.
So let’s share the work: we bike and you support us … mentally and financially!
