Why I participate in Alpe d'HuZes?
This year I'm taking part in the Alpe d’HuZes "Big Challenge" with my company, Trouw Nutrition. This is an event where 5000 participants from the agriculture industry run, hike, or cycle 13.8 km up the mountain in June to raise money for cancer research. Since 2006 this event has raised more than 208 million euros. I'm motivated to join the event because cancer has touched the lives of many people I love. This effort is a way to honour their memories, supporting those still fighting, and contributing to a future where more lives can be saved.
