Why I participate in Alpe d'HuZes?
This year, I will take on the challenge of Alpe d’HuZes, a demanding yet inspiring event where participants climb the legendary Alpe d’Huez to raise funds for cancer research. I am proud to be part of this journey with Oncode Institute, as we work toward our mission: cracking the code of cancer to ensure that everyone diagnosed can survive with the best possible quality of life.
This challenge holds deep meaning for me. Cancer patients face an uphill battle every day, and by taking on this climb, I hope to gain even more perspective on their resilience and determination. Beyond the personal challenge, this event is also an opportunity to support the vital work of KWF Kankerbestrijding (Dutch Cancer Society)—the leading funder of cancer research in the Netherlands. KWF’s commitment to advancing innovative research, including the responsible use of alternatives to animal models whenever possible, strongly aligns with my vision for the future of cancer research.
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to breakthroughs that will improve lives. Please support me in this journey and help make a real impact!
