My motivation
F*ck Cancer
This is my third attempt this year, and the journey to this point has been anything but easy. The past few years have given me so much to be grateful for good health, the joy of watching my two daughters grow into energetic, happy girls, and being surrounded by friends and family who are living healthy and fulfilling lives. But life has also brought its share of heavy challenges.
Cancer has shaken my world more than once. Some of my dearest friends are facing incredible hardships as cancer affects their families and close circles. Three years ago, I lost my mother to this devastating disease. Her battle, her resilience, and ultimately, her loss have left a profound impact on me. It’s a constant reminder of how precious life is and how important it is to fight for every healthy day.
This year feels like a new chapter the first year we’re taking on the fight against cancer as a team. Together, we aim to raise as much money as possible and support Team Odeaur. As part of our mission, we will donate 2% of the revenue from our Care Products to the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF) every year.
For as long as my body allows, I will keep fighting this battle by raising funds, spreading awareness, and contributing to the hope for a future without cancer. For my mother, for everyone fighting, and for a world where this disease no longer destroys lives.
