Why I participate in Alpe d'HuZes?
I once read an interview with an oncologist. In this interview, he said “When I tell patients about their cancer diagnosis, the first question is usually: How long do I still have to live?” He went on to describe that it would be much more important to talk about the treatment options, as with any other disease. And even though cancer is unfortunately still far too often incurable, medicine has made massive progress in recent years and a cancer diagnosis no longer has to be a death sentence. And that is precisely why I am taking part in AD6, so that the treatment options for cancer patients can be further developed and improved. Please support me in this goal!
